NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Commuters looking to take NJ Transit buses out of the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal might want to find alternate travel options.

Bus service into and out of the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal is subject to delays up to 45 minutes, according to NJ Transit.

The delays are due to closed traffic lanes on Route 495, the agency reports.

Bus tickets and passes are being cross-honored by NJ Transit rail in and out of New York.
