DOS PALOS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man was arrested after officers found a loaded AR pistol in his car outside of a State Foods Super Market in Dos Palos, police said.

Police identified the man as Mark Anthony Ortiz.

On Oct. 20, a sergeant and an officer responded to State Foods Super Market regarding a man who was parked in front of the store.

The officer went to Ortiz, who had an active arrest warrant, and told him to step out of the car.

Police said that during that time, the sergeant found a loaded concealed pistol on Ortiz.

Ortiz was not a valid concealed weapon permit holder, and police said he had drug paraphernalia and narcotics.
