NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a deadly hit-and-run at the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Bundy Road on Thursday night.

According to NOPD, officers were called to the scene around 9:12 p.m. after reports that a vehicle had hit an adult and left the scene.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
