NEW ORLEANS — Warren Easton Charter High School announced Thursday night that classes will be canceled on Friday following an off-campus incident involving two students after dismissal.

In an Instagram post, the school said the New Orleans Police Department is investigating the incident and that it is fully cooperating with authorities.

“Out of caution and care for the school community, classes will be canceled tomorrow,” the statement said.

The school added that families will receive more information about next steps and available support services.
