NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left one person dead and another severely injured Thursday night.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, two victims were struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Third and Prytania streets. The driver did not remain at the scene.
Police said one victim was pronounced dead at the scene by New Orleans Emergency Medical Services. The second victim was taken to a local hospital with severe injuries.
No additional information is currently available.
