Bruins center Elias Lindholm exited Boston’s Thursday home game with a lower-body injury after colliding at center ice with Buffalo Sabres winger Jordan Greenway in the second period.
The Bruins announced that Lindholm would not return.
Lindholm and Greenway appeared to bump knees as both players pursued a loose puck in the neutral zone.
Lindholm, 30, is in his second season with the Bruins. He played all 82 games in 2024-25, producing 17 goals and 47 points, and had four goals and nine points through 12 games entering Thursday.
The 13-year veteran has tallied 239 goals and 613 points in 913 career games with the Carolina Hurricanes, Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks and Boston.
