EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Reitz Mighty Marching Panther members say they are so excited to head to Indianapolis this weekend for the big Semi-State Championships.
The marching band did a special Halloween practice tonight ahead of the event.
They got a gold rating at their regional competition, which qualified them for semi-state.
“We’ve been working so hard, every little detail matters to us, I think this is one big happy family, and I’m so glad that I get to go with all these people,” says junior Apryl Jochim.
If they place at semi-state, they will move on to perform at State Finals at Lucas Oil stadium November 8.
Band members say this is such an exciting opportunity, and they’re looking to make history.
