Imphal, October 30 2025: The results of the Irengbam Chaoren Memorial Essay Writing Competition 2025 held on October 12 have been announced today.

The competition was organised as a part of the 68th birth anniversary celebration of Irengbam Chaoren.

The competition was held in two categories on the theme "Political Status of Manipur, 1947-1949".Around 1,500 students of different schools and colleges participated in the competition, held in two centres.

In category A (Class VIII to X), Elangbam Langlen Chanu (Class IX) of Eureka Academy; Arambam Etheel (Class VIII) of Nirmalabas High School and Elangbam Dhanista (Class VIII) of Pole Star School bagged the 1 st, 2nd and 3rd slots respectively.
