CLYDE – The Bangs Lady Dragons volleyball season came to an end in the Region I-2A Division I bi-district round of the playoffs Tuesday night with a 25-18, 25-12, 25-4 loss to District 6 champion Hawley
Bangs (9-26) earned the fourth and final playoff berth out of District 5-2A with a straight-set victory over De Leon Tuesday night in a play-in match.
Against Hawley (31-8) Thursday night, the Lady Dragons received seven kills from Ashlynn Sliger and two apiece from Cameryn Harmon and Stormy Stringer.
Justice Baker and Cricket Caulkins each dished out five assists, and Bangs did not record an ace.
