EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Indiana Hoosiers, for the second year in a row, are dazzling the college football world.
“I was just shocked that we were doing as well as we were,” said Evansville Resident Doug Beckner.
And Evansville resident Doug Beckner, has a front row seat.
“Doug, you drive for the Indiana Hoosiers.”
For away games, Doug Beckner is the one behind the wheel, taking all of the team’s equipment to their next destination. He certainly gets a unique experience.
“You’re riding high on this new thing that’s happening, and you’re a part of it, and you think, ‘it can’t get any better than this.’”
It’s an experience Doug never thought he’d get.
“I would’ve thought you were crazy.”
Back in 2017, on July 4th, he was arrested, a DUI. A lowpoint, but one he’s grown from.
