DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - As we head into the winter season, a popular destination for families in Duluth is gearing up for the snow and an exciting new chapter.

“It’s really fun, I like Snowboarding and skiing,” said ten-year-old Sia Regas after being fitted for her season-long snowboard rental equipment at Chester Bowl.

Regas is one of the more than 1,800 people who use the hill each winter.

Thursday, with the help of one of Chester’s volunteers, she was fitted with boots ready for the new season.

“They’re really helpful, they made sure that I got the perfect boots. It took them a while to get the thing the boots go on to get the perfect size,” said Regas.
