The sacred bones of a much-loved French Carmelite nun, which began a tour of the U.S. earlier this month, will visit Winchester's Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church from Nov. 26-29.

St. Thérèse of Lisieux is one of the most beloved saints in the Catholic Church. She died of tuberculosis in 1897 at age 24.

"This visit comes during a historic moment for the Church — the 100th anniversary of St. Thérèse's canonization and the global observance of the Jubilee Year, proclaimed by the Vatican," according to a media release from Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and Academy. "As part of the official relics pilgrimage, this stop in Winchester offers the faithful a rare opportunity to draw near to the 'Little Flower' and her powerful message of love, humility, and trust in God."
