SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Notre Dame women’s basketball team dominated Purdue Northwest 119-54 in a preseason tune-up on Thursday night before the Irish get their regular season started next week.
All five Notre Dame starters finished in double figures scoring during the win.
Hannah Hidalgo had a monster night, leading all scorers with 39 points while adding eight rebounds, six steals and two assists.
Cass Prosper was super efficient, scoring 27 points on 12 of 13 shooting.
“I thought Cass was fantastic,” said Notre Dame head coach Niele Ivey after the game. “I talked about her yesterday. She really impacted the game on both sides of the ball. 27 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, seven steals, three blocked shots, she was fantastic. All of the starters in double figures. Kelly Rat
