MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) - There was a championship celebration at Penn High School on Thursday night.

The school won the first-ever Indiana high school girls flag football state championship earlier this month, and the team was on campus to get its roses.

It was Oct, 18 when the Kingsmen employed suffocating defense, including a lot of productive interceptions, to defeat Lawrence North at Westfield’s Grand Park Sports Campus.

We spoke with a young running back who just might have the best flag football name ever: Logan Rumble.

Rumble says her team quickly developed the necessary championship intangible known as chemistry.
