PHOENIX — Officers with the El Mirage and Glendale police departments arrested three people and seized more than 2,000 fentanyl pills on Thursday, authorities said.
EMPD said in a post to social media that a search warrant was served at a home near Calavar Road and 126th Lane on Thursday morning.
The warrant was executed by El Mirage’s Neighborhood Enforcement Team, patrol officers, K9 units and Glendale SWAT.
Three people were arrested and more than 2,000 fentanyl pills were seized during the operation, according to EMPD.
In addition, there were reportedly 20 pieces of drug paraphernalia found in the residence.
Police also noted that this was not the first time the department had served warrants at that home this year.
