UCP reverses stance, will restart public reporting of Alberta class sizes

Six years after the UCP majority eliminated the publicly reporting of class sizes, the government has reinstated counting — and reporting — class sizes in the rapidly growing provincial student body. Article content

An annual census for each school will tabulate numbers, classroom by classroom, on substitute teachers, district staff with job titles and students per classroom per school.

It will collect data on severely disabled and mildly/moderately disabled, and also gifted/talented students in each classroom.
