Penny-Laine Scott was granted bail Friday morning on condition she not contact the two other people charged in the murder. She is also not allowed to contact five other witnesses involved in the investigation, including her daughter. Article content

Scott must surrender her passport to the court, remain sober as she awaits trial and pay the court a $3,000 cash deposit. She will be allowed to return to briefly return to her Fort McMurray home where she will be supervised by her sister. The two will then go to her sister’s home in British Columbia.
