HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A series of overnight thefts and break-ins struck neighborhoods across Elkridge, Columbia, Ellicott City, and Laurel this week, with items ranging from wallets to entire vehicles reported stolen, according to the Howard County Police Department’s daily crime bulletin released Thursday.

In Elkridge, a vehicle break-in was reported around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 6500 block of Huntshire Drive. Police said it remains unclear what, if anything, was taken from the vehicle.

In Columbia’s 21045 ZIP code, a wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 8900 block of Watchlight Court sometime overnight between Oct. 29 and 30.
