Dr Amir Khan has suggested that a 5p pill could be beneficial in combating a cold, claiming it can help shorten the duration of illness, a statement supported by some research studies.
On his new podcast show, No Appointment Necessary, alongside co-host Cherry Healey, the NHS GP shared this useful tip as we approach the height of the cold and flu season. Dr Khan is a renowned health expert who frequently features on television programmes such as ITV's Good Morning Britain , Lorraine, and This Morning , as well as BBC's Morning Live.
