The first Basketball Champions League Best Young Player, Furkan Korkmaz, is back, eight years after shining with Banvit.

The 28-year-old winger signed with BCL outfit Tofas for the remainder of the 2025-26 season, the team announced on Friday.

After being selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 26th overall pick of the 2016 NBA draft, Korkmaz displayed his talents in the inaugural edition of the BCL. Reaching the championship game of the Final Four with Banvit and falling to host Iberostar Tenerife, he settled with the Best Young Player award. Over ten games, he averaged 10.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.0 steals per contest.
