J&K, Oct 31: On Friday, the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly completed its nine-day sitting, and Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather after a session marked by rousing debates and resolutions to important legislative matters, adjourned the House sine die. In this autumn session, the legislators also greenlighted five major bills, namely the J&K Tenancy Bill, Panchayati Raj Amendment Bill, Shops and Establishments Bill, and Cooperative Societies Amendment Bill, which were drafted to empower the administration and raise the standard of living of the public.
