Owners of 23,175 BS-3 (petrol-powered) and 4,482 BS-4 (diesel-powered) commercial vehicles will be shocked by this news in light of the bad weather. To prevent these vehicles from entering Delhi, police and the RTO enforcement team have created joint teams. Teams will be sent out starting tomorrow, November 1. If caught, a heavy fine or even seizure of the vehicle will be imposed.
Seven Squads Established to Stop Vehicles
According to reports, 27,457 vehicles from the district are prohibited from traveling to Delhi. Only till midnight today will these cars be permitted to enter Delhi. The Commission for Air Quality Management made the decision in light of the worsening climate. In order to comply with the directive, seven teams have been established under the direction of two ARTOs.
