AKRON, Ohio - A federal magistrate judge is scheduled to hold a hearing today on a possible violation of supervised release conditions for former Austintown drug rehabilitation facility owner Ryan Sheridan, following his recent arrest on felony state charges in Ohio.
Magistrate Judge Amanda Knapp will preside over the initial appearance on supervised release violation proceedings on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the U.S. District Court in Akron.
The hearing follows Sheridan's arrest by Austintown Police on charges of felony kidnapping and misdemeanor domestic violence stemming from an alleged incident on the previous Thursday.
Sheridan, 45, the former owner of Braking Point Recovery Center, was convicted in a multi-million-dollar federal health care fraud conspiracy case.
He was sentenced
