HEBRON, Ky. (WXIX) - Amazon met with Hebron community members Thursday to discuss their proposed transportation hub, but many residents are not completely on board with the proposal.
Residents continued to voice disagreement with the suggested site on Litton Lane, saying it is too close to their homes.
“I’ve lived in Hebron my whole life. I can take you to hundreds of acres that are sitting vacant waiting for development,” one resident said.
Folks clarified with Amazon that they are not against the facility and even said it is needed in Hebron.
Their main concerns, however, are traffic and whether the transportation hub will be in their back yards.
