MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Thousands of power outages were being reported across New Hampshire on Friday morning.
It is not clear exactly what's causing the outages, but News 9 heard multiple reports of downed tree limbs and wires. Some of those incidents lead to road closures.
Eversource, Unitil, New Hampshire Electric Co-op and Liberty Utilities were reporting a total of 11,576 outages as of 6:30 a.m.
There could be more outages throughout the day and on Saturday as winds pick up. Some areas could get gusts of over 35 mph.
