Iowa women's wrestlers have established themselves enough by now to consider things business as usual, even with the inaugural NCAA season on the horizon.
The Hawkeyes are favorites to be crowned national champions once again, with 11 All-Americans and two national champions from last season's National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships returning. Even though they lost some key pieces such as 145-pound national champion Macey Kilty, All-Americans Nanea Estrella and Alivia White among others, the talent in the room has only continued to grow from year-to-year.
"We have a strong lineup," Kylie Welker said. "With me and Kennedy (Blades) back-to-back, it is going to be hard to beat us."
With the inaugural season will come some changes to the lineup by going from 15 to 10 postseason
