How to cope with "a changing agricultural landscape" is to be a main focus of a farm business conference to take place next month in Winnipeg.
The Nov. 18-20 AgEx event is being sponsored by Farm Management Canada, an Ottawa-based non-profit group.
Conference topics are to include ways to boost farm profitability, farm innovation, risk management, safe practices, as well as financial and mental health for farmers, a news release said.
Participants are also to hear about "navigating farm-transition resistance," an industry trend involving the transition from a farm manager to the equivalent of a chief executive officer, the news release said.
More information is available on the group's website at fmc-gac.com .
