SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) —It's Halloween this morning, and its the one day a year when a few scares are all part of the fun.
In this morning's Flashback Friday, Marla Newman takes us back to 1986 for a hauntingly fun look at how Sioux Falls residents celebrated Halloween.
"When I was a little girl and I still am afraid of the cemeteries, and on Halloween night, I had some friends take me there, and we got out and they left us there, and it was the worst thing I ever experienced in my life."
The cemetery does instill a certain amount of fear on this eerie night, especially when some people take the coffins right to their front door.
"Well, the first day we got it, when it was in the back of our car, we were embarrassed going down Minnesota Avenue."
Tricks and treats might be the trade
