The Auburn Police Department announced on Thursday the arrest of a man in connection to pornographic images of children.

Brian Russell Lilly, 38, of Auburn, is charged with possession of child sexual abuse material.

According to police, investigators received a tip that Lilly was possibly in possession of images. Upon investigation, enough evidence was found to arrest Lilly.

Detectives stated that the images depict juveniles from outside the Auburn area. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.

Lilly was booked into the Lee County Jail on a $70,000 bond.

Lilly is considered innocent until proven guilty.
