A man has been jailed for six months after abandoning two starving dogs in a filthy flat in Aberdeen.
Animal welfare officers from the Scottish SPCA were called to Cameron's home in the city on May 8 last year.
They found six-year-old American bulldog Diesel and a nine-month-old Bull type puppy named Gucci living in squalid conditions.
The call had been made to the animal rescue charity after owner Kalith Cameron had been detained.

The animals were found starving and in pain and were later removed from the property.
Kalith Cameron was sentenced to six months in prison, and disqualified from owning, holding, keeping, or looking after any animal for a period of three years when he appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court this week.
