A man has been jailed for six months after abandoning two starving dogs in a filthy flat in Aberdeen. ‌

Animal welfare officers from the Scottish SPCA were called to Cameron's home in the city on May 8 last year. ‌

They found six-year-old American bulldog Diesel and a nine-month-old Bull type puppy named Gucci living in squalid conditions. ‌

The call had been made to the animal rescue charity after owner Kalith Cameron had been detained.
