CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Election Day is rounding the corner, and Cincinnati’s mayoral race is heating up.
Republican candidate Cory Bowman sat down with FOX19 NOW’s Tricia Macke and Rob Williams to outline his concerns about the city’s direction under current leadership.
Bowman said he doesn’t like the direction the city is going under Mayor Aftab Pureval, who is running for re-election. One of his biggest concerns for Cincinnati is crime and public safety.
“The thing we’re seeing right now is trickle down incompetence from city hall,” Bowman said.
“I’ve spoken with a lot of police officers and they want to do their job, they want to protect and serve - but their hands are being tied.”
