BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- When the Buffalo Bills took on the Kansas City Chiefs last season, one fan’s friendly wager turned into a moment Bills Mafia will never forget.
It all started when Justin Staffone made a playful bet with CBS Sports’ Nate Burleson: if the Bills won, Burleson’s jacket would be his.
The Bills pulled off the victory and Staffone walked away with the coat.
That simple bet transformed him into an unexpected Bills Mafia celebrity.
“Getting introduced to new people, people reaching out wanting to do hangouts and meetups and brand deals, this jacket was something cool to start off with,” Staffone said.
Since then, the coat has taken him places he never imagined. Fans from across the world now recognize him, and he says the whole experience has changed his perspective.
