BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - One small building caught fire Friday morning in Birmingham before spreading to surrounding residential buildings.

Officials say the fire started at around 4:30 a.m. on 20th Street South between 13th Avenue South and 14th Avenue South.

Details are limited at this time as crews are still on the scene as of 8 a.m. working to put the fires out.

Birmingham Fire and Rescue did confirm to WBRC that, at this time, there are no injuries related to Friday morning’s fire.
