The Corbett Heritage Jungle Safari route, operating under the Kaladhungi Forest Range of Ramnagar Forest Division since last year, is set to reopen for visitors on Saturday. Informing this, the divisional forest officer (DFO), Dhruv Singh Martolia said that the safari gate would officially reopen at 8 AM on November 1 by Kaladhungi MLA, Banshidhar Bhagat.
Kaladhungi, known as the workplace of the legendary Jim Corbett, holds a special place in the conservation history of India. The reopening of this jungle route is seen as a significant step towards promoting environmental awareness, wildlife conservation and rural tourism.
