LOS GATOS — The Los Gatos offense is executing at a high level.
The Wildcats scored a touchdown on their first play from scrimmage and another on their second play, kick starting an offensive highlight show in a 56-13 victory over Menlo-Atherton.
Quarterback Callum Schweitzer, who received an offer from Yale last week, hit Beau Musser on a 58-yard touchdown pass on the first play from scrimmage. He completed all seven passes he attempted for 170 yards before sitting out the second half.
Hudson Schrader’s fumble recovery set up Grayson Doslak’s 22-yard touchdown run on the Wildcats’ second play.
Two plays, two TDs, a 14-0 lead.
“Getting off to an explosive start was huge,” Schweitzer said. ” I think we’re just getting started. We’re getting better and better going into the playoffs.”
