CLEVELAND, Ohio – California-grown conventional yellow and white peaches have been recalled because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
Reedley, California-based Midnight Companies’ peaches were sold at retail stores nationwide between Sept. 16 and Oct. 29. The peaches were sold either as individual pieces of fruit bearing price-lookup stickers or as multi-packs.
Note: The recall does not include packages or PLU stickers with the words “Washington” and/or “Organic.”
