COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was seriously injured in a shooting Friday night in south Columbus, according to a public safety dispatcher for the city.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called just before 8:15 p.m. to the intersection of South Ohio and Frebis avenues on a report of a shooting.
The dispatcher said the person was taken to Grant Medical Center in life-threatening condition.
The intersection is shut down at this time.
The dispatcher did not provide additional information on a suspect or what led up to the shooting.
The shooting remains under investigation.
