LEWISBURG, WV (WVNS) -- Carnegie Hall welcomes members of the public to involve themselves in learning about the art of caring for headstones through "Preserving the Past."

According to a press release, the experience is part of Carnegie Hall-O-Ween, hosted by preservationist Skip Deagans will take place on November 8, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The workshop will focus on the care and conservation of historic headstones, the release noted. In collaboration with Old Stone Church, the workshop will give proper guidance on methods of cleaning, fixing, and resetting stone memorials, importantly, those in cemeteries that no longer have ties to active congregations.
