ST PAUL, Minn. — St. Paul Police are investigating after a shooting killed two people early Friday morning.

According to the police department's post on X, officers were at the scene on the 400 block of Front Avenue around 9 a.m.

In a press conference around 11 a.m., a spokesperson for the St. Paul Police Department said officers arrived at the scene and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his torso. Despite life-saving efforts, the spokesperson said he died at the scene.

A second gunshot wound victim was taken to Regions Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries as well, according to the police department.
