As of late Thursday, Oct. 30, several channels are missing from YouTube TV.
Disney-owned channels, including ABC, ESPN, Disney Channel, National Geographic, and FX, have been removed from YouTube TV.
Disney and YouTube TV’s previous carriage deal expired at midnight on Friday, Oct. 31, and the two sides failed to reach a new agreement in time. Hence, the removal of several popular channels from the streaming platform.
YouTube TV notified subscribers of the change via email, stating that the company “will not agree to terms that disadvantage our members while benefiting Disney’s own live TV products.”
Although YouTube TV is “committed to continuing to work with Disney to reach an agreement,” the platform will offer subscribers a $20 credit if Disney networks are unavailable “for an exte
