JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) -The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says two more people have been charged in connection with a shooting that happened at a party in Jefferson County.
Silay McCay, 21, and Hunter McCullouch, 19, are charged with third-degree assault. Both have bonded out of the Jefferson County Jail.
McCay was injured in the Oct. 19 shooting at a place called “The Pit” on Highway 75 North in Pinson.
The shooting claimed the life of 18-year-old Kimber Mills and injured several others.
A preliminary investigation indicates a verbal and physical altercation escalated and resulted in gunfire.
Steven Tyler Whitehead is charged with murder and three counts of attempted murder. He remains in the Jefferson County Jail.
