James Hall has carved out a name for himself –– while making a whole bunch of scary creatures.
But he said for those with a passion for pumpkin carving, you don’t have to be a professional to create something that will make the neighborhood take notice this Halloween.
What You Need To Know
James Hall is a prop maker by day and a professional pumpkin carver by night
He had never thought anything would come of his hobby –– until he entered an online contest a few years back for the video game company, Blizzard
After that, Hall was hooked, and the Halloween hobby became a paid pursuit
He has appeared twice on Food Network’s Halloween Wars, where his team won the grand prize of $50,000 each time
Hall was around six or seven years old when he was first able to begin honing his skills.
