The Election Commission has asked for a report from Bihar DGP regarding the Mokama Murder case.

Dularchand Yadav, a supporter of Jan Suraj Party candidate Piyush Priyadarshi, was killed during firing between the two sides while campaigning for elections in Mokama on Thursday.

Abhishek Singh, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Barh-2, said the firing broke out following an altercation when the convoys of two parties crossed paths.

“Police received information that the convoys of two parties were crossing each other when one party fired at the other over some issue and also tried to run them over,” Singh said.

The police said the incident will be investigated properly and action will be taken against the perpetrators.
