TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- Auburndale City Commissioners voted to terminate City Manager Jeffrey Tillman's employment on Friday after he was accused of kissing a waitress against her will last year.

Tillman was arrested on May 7 in connection to the incident, which happened on Dec. 21, 2024 at the Brack Shack Bar and Grill, according to an arrest report from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The waitress reported the incident to law enforcement in April. She told detectives she was approached by an intoxicated customer and told him to eat some bread to help metabolize the alcohol.

The customer, who detectives identified as Tillman, put his arm around her waist, pulled her towards him and kissed her on the forehead, according to PCSO.
