GENESEE COUNTY, MI – A planned power outage to replace electric lines in Genesee County will lead to a service disruption for thousands of Consumers Energy customers next week.
Customers in Flint and Mount Morris Township, particularly customers and businesses east of Interstate 475, as far north as Summit Street, and as far west as Carpenter Road, will experience an outage beginning at 11:55 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at 11:55 p.m. until 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8.
“This scheduled service is part of the company’s Reliability Roadmap , its continued mission to reduce the frequency and length of power outages,” a Friday, Oct. 31 news release from Consumers Energy said.
