ORCHARD PARK - The Buffalo Bills are expected to have their two starting linebackers - Matt Milano and Terrel Bernard - back for Sunday afternoon’s annual showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs.
However, coach Sean McDermott said Friday that linebacker Shaq Thompson - who has arguably played better this season than both Milano and Bernard - is going to miss the game because he re-aggravated his hamstring in practice Wednesday that had originally slowed him during training camp.
That’s a blow for the Bills who have used more three-linebacker sets this season, and Thompson has played a role in that while also stepping in to start for Milano in Week 6 at Atlanta and for Bernard in Week 8 at Carolina.
