A teenager has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 59-year-old man. Hamid Tawaab , 59, was found unconscious at his home in Fern Court, Huntingdon on January 20, 2025.

Hamid was later pronounced dead at the scene. His death is being treated as a murder by Cambridgeshire Police.

Officers arrested a 17-year-old from Huntingdon on suspicion of murder this morning (Friday, October 31). He remains in custody.

Previously, officers arrested a 35-year-old woman on suspicion of murder. She has since been bailed. Mr Tawaab’s family paid tribute to him at the start of October.
