For 20 years, the Paradise Valley Veteran’s Appreciation Vintage Car Show has brought residents together to celebrate classic cars while raising money for Arizona’s military families.

Attendees can see vintage cars — all pre-1985 — that are owned by their friends and neighbors.

“We kick the event off with a little military procession with the flag, and we have a young lady who sings the National Anthem,” show chairman Ed Winkler said.

The car show offers more than vehicles by providing a glimpse into the past and a celebration of community.

“It’s like taking a slice of 1955 and dropping it right into 2025. Everything’s done the old way, and it’s just very quaint,” Winkler said.

Proceeds support two local veteran organizations, Sentinels of Freedom and the Military Assistance Mission,
