Two people were arrested for robbing a business on Pine Street in Florence, according to police.

On Wednesday, officers with the Florence Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at Good Spirits, located at 1346 Pine Street.

The suspect fled before officers arrived.

Florence Police say the male suspect had stolen cash from the store, but there were no injuries reported.

Following an extensive investigation by Florence Police's Criminal Investigations Division, a search warrant was obtained for the residence of Desmond Peters and Jennifer Duster in connection with the robbery.

In the evening, the Florence-Lauderdale SWAT Team assisted the Criminal Investigation Division in executing a search warrant at that residence, located on the 200 block of Mitchell Street.
