DALLAS — A wave of layoffs is hitting the Dallas–Fort Worth area as several local employers announce job cuts heading into the new year, reflecting a broader slowdown in the national labor market.

Colonial Savings plans to cut 130 jobs effective Jan. 1, 2026 due to the planned wind-down of its servicing division.
